The Department of Education started implementing the National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP) to address gaps created by learning interruptions in the past few years. One of the most affected learning areas in these challenges is Mathematics especially the basic computational skills of learners. Thus, the department formulated its latest intervention to help learners with difficulties acquire skills from previous grade levels entitled the National Mathematics Program (NMP). Teachers are required to prepare additional activities for this program. Nevertheless, DepEd prescribed the NMP Lesson Script for teachers to use.
