DepEd National Learning Camp (NLC) Assessment Reviewer
For kids in Grades 7 and 8 who have trouble learning because to the COVID-19 pandemic, DepEd offers the National Learning Camp (NLC). The camp will emphasize English, Science, and Mathematics and run from July 24 through August 12, 2023.
Activities for intervention, enrichment, and remediation will be offered at the NLC. Students who are having trouble understanding the concepts being taught in class will benefit from intervention exercises. Students will have the chance to learn more about the subjects they are interested in through enrichment programs. Students who have fallen behind in their studies might catch up with them with the aid of remediation programs.
The NLC will be held in both online and face-to-face formats. Students who choose to participate in the online format will have access to a variety of learning resources, including video tutorials, interactive exercises, and quizzes. Students who choose to participate in the face-to-face format will attend classes at their local schools.

The NLC is voluntary for students and teachers. However, students who have low grades are encouraged to participate, as this might affect their promotion to the next grade level. Teachers who volunteer to participate in the NLC will be given additional leave credits.
The DepEd NLC is a valuable opportunity for students to catch up on their learning and improve their academic skills. The camp is also a great opportunity for teachers to collaborate with their colleagues and share best practices.
