Daily Lesson Log (DLL) Quarter 1 Week 4 for September 12-16, 2022, or Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) gives teachers the opportunity to reflect on what students need to learn, how students learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. They aim to empower teachers to provide quality teaching that recognizes the diversity of students in the classroom, strives for student success, allows for the use of a variety of instructional and formative assessment strategies, including the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), and allows the teacher to guide, mentor and support learners in developing and evaluating their learning across the curriculum.

The Department of Education released Daily Lesson Log rules for daily lesson preparation in order to institutionalize instructional planning, a crucial step in the teaching and learning process in public schools. These recommendations are designed to assist instructors in setting up and running K–12 classrooms in a way that is truly responsive to the needs of the students.
Teachers will be given opportunity to consider and reflect on their teaching approaches as a result of these recommendations for creating the K–12 Daily Lesson Log. K-12
