DepEd 2023 National Teachers’ Month honors teachers for their crucial contribution to the Philippine educational system for an entire month. Every September, from September 5 to October 5, it takes place. President Benigno Aquino III first established the holiday on August 29, 2011, when he issued Proclamation No. 242.
